MOTHERS REMEMBERING
They spoke of children,
Their’s, children of their children,
Girl children climbing trees, and sledding,
Going to school.

I sat among mothers in late afternoon sun,
The warmth of late afternoon sun,
The warmth of mothers, remembering.
