As the nights turn cold, snug I am in my tiny house, wood stove, Kitty on my lap,

those without, scrunched up under whatever on a park bench somewhere, everywhere, have that piece of my mind, shared shame.

Some years gone by, working the midnight to eight, broom and mop, fixing what was broken at City Loft Hotel, I would give my “good morning” to the homeless waking, bench outside the coffee shop. A couple of dollars and this song was all that I could muster, “Shared Shame”.

Homeless
