Tuesday Night And Wednesday Morning is a one-take track, a spontaneous improvisation out of wrenching emotional experience towards the end of a breakup. It is the only recording I have played on my Kohler Campbell spinet piano. On impulse, predawn this Wednesday morning, I put a mic down in the action and turned on my recorder. A week later I watched my piano being hauled away on an open trailer, my home of nine years dissembling.
The action and sound of this little spinet were dear to me, as a friend is dear.
