Against all odds…

Circumstances took away my Camble Milton upright acoustical piano. I weep listening to this track I made off the top of my head one Wednesday morning after one Tuesday night. On impulse I put a mic down inside the strings, one take. What a sound. All the feeling of that time I could put on those keys. I watched my precious Milton go down the road on the back of a flatbed trailer some weeks later. Some things I just can’t get over.

Universal presence,

So beautiful, the day,

A bobber on a string,
The frail thread of my being in time full in my face.
